Sikh Helpline works 24 hours/7 days a week to support extremely vulnerable people over the phone on a national scale. We are in need of call handlers who can offer their time to support a service user. With the need and calls increased twofold from 2019, we want to ensure we can continue to provide this much needed service. We need volunteers who want to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Training will be provided to handle calls. Help us from home or from our office in West Bromwich.

A legacy of Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Gen22 is an environmental social action project aimed at empowering communities and providing skills for young people in conservation, project management and planning. Participants will work together to connect with and improve local green spaces, building their awareness of nature and developing valuable employability skills. It is a youth-led project, giving participants the opportunity to design, manage, budget and lead their own projects with the support of industry professionals. The project will take place over a period of 30 hours (4 days).

Help create a once-in-a-lifetime city centre arts event in a pop-up garden of magical proportions. PoliNations will see an epic pop-up garden take over the centre of Birmingham for a two-week festival this September. Giant architectural trees and thousands of plants will transform Victoria Square into an urban oasis, which will host free events, workshops and performances including live music, dance, spoken word, drag and carnival. DiscoInclusive would love you to come and hang out with us on the last Wednesday evening of every month. Many Sandwell youngsters enjoy the freedom of these discos, and sometimes need a hand to get out on the floor and boogie.
