Be one of Soho Victoria Friends and Neighbours' lead volunteers for our 'Talk and Walk' activity every Friday morning (happening NOW, adhering to Covid guidelines). During the walk, we share information, opportunities, and listen to each other’s concerns, facilitating discussion to problem-solve. We train volunteers how to listen, facilitate discussion and respond in order to open up choices for participants. We believe this helps reduce loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and increases people taking control of their lives, making new friends and neighbours. This also promotes mental health & wellbeing, as well as everyone involved getting fitter!
To mobilise and connect people to make informed choices that help them to flourish in the way they want, and to share this way of working with partner organisations
