We are looking for a Gardening Volunteer who feels confident using their gardening knowledge and expertise to help grow and maintain the gardens and green spaces at Edward Street Hospital.
The role involves carrying out practical gardening tasks such as planting, pruning, weeding, and general allotment‑style upkeep.
We are seeking someone who can work independently, take initiative, and bring fresh ideas to enhance the garden in ways that support patient recovery.
The team are seeking someone to then help run a regular patient gardening group, bringing ideas for meaningful outdoor activities. Once the garden is prepared, volunteers will work alongside staff and patients on planting, weeding and pruning to support wellbeing.
We are looking for a volunteer who can offer a few hours of support each week, between a Monday and Friday.
Pre-agreed expenses will be reimbursed.
