Come and join our community litter pick once a month

by Dorothy Parkes Centre

Can you spare an hour a month to support our local community litter pick?

We meet on the first Saturday of every month at 10am at The Dorothy Parkes Centre and focus on litter picking areas that run along Thimbelmill Brook.

Thimblemill Brook is a valued local conservation area and an important site of ecological interest.
It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including nesting moorhens, woodpeckers, kingfishers and herons.

Sadly, littering remains an ongoing problem along the brook, and we urgently need more volunteers to help care for and preserve this special place.

Whether you’re passionate about wildlife, care about your local environment, or simply want to give something back to the community, every pair of hands makes a real difference.
If you can spare just one hour a month, we would love to hear from you.

All ages are welcome. Children under the age of 16 Years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Together, we can keep Thimblemill Brook clean, safe and thriving for wildlife and future generations.
