We are seeking male and female volunteers to support the Occupational Therapy Team. Applicants must hold a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (CIMPSA-recognised). Volunteers will assist patients using gym equipment, with staff support.

• Enthusiasm to help patients and encourage positive actions to improve wellbeing.
• Ability to use some digital technology for training and communications – we can support you with this.
• Friendly and welcoming – able to speak with patients and build rapport
• Will gain experience of supporting patients struggling with their mental health, in engaging with the gym to improve their wellbeing.
• Will complete various e-learning training, role-specific training and be provided with internal training opportunities to support with the volunteer role. Which can be used to meet their personal goals, and to build their CV/for future employment.
• Will have the opportunity to collaborate with staff and patients to improve services.
