Do you want to make a difference to disadvantaged families and children?

West Smethwick Enterprise (WSE) is looking to recruit members for our Board of Trustees. WSE is a small local charity originally established in 1984 based in Sandwell and Birmingham.

The time commitment is envisaged to be roughly 8 days per year, including attendance at 5 half-day Board meetings (held in Smethwick), with the remainder of your time devoted to deploying your expertise on behalf of the Board in the form of advice, guidance and support given to a member of the operational management team.
We are specifically looking for someone with a background in: Human Resources, Marketing (including digital marketing) and Finance (including corporate fundraising).

Most of the meetings will take place at Smethwick Council House.

Organisation description

WSE is a small local charity originally established in 1984 based in Sandwell and Birmingham. WSE has grown from strength to strength, starting with one site, now growing to five, supporting over 450 local children and families to increase their life chances and allow them to live more confident, capable and caring lives.
