The purpose of the Community Red Social Supermarket is to provide affordable, nutritious food to the local community while creating opportunities for social impact. It aims to:
• Support low-income households by offering reduced-cost groceries.
• Reduce food waste by utilizing surplus stock from businesses.
• Create job training and work experience opportunities, especially for young people.
• Foster community engagement and social inclusion.
• Provide a safe space to deter youth from crime by offering meaningful activities and experiences through in-store events.
• Operate as a not-for-profit initiative that reinvests in the local community.
