We are looking for a volunteer with business, HR and finance experience. Fantastic Journeys is a growing social enterprise. We are accessing larger grants and winning contracts with statutory organisations. We have identified a need for more support to manage our finances and organisational structure. This support might include advice about:
• finance accounting packages
• fulltime vs freelance contracts
• costs related to fulltime employees
• writing and managing a business plan
We would like a volunteer to join us to advise us in these areas. They could join us in an official capacity as a voluntary director. Or they could join us as a co-opted advisory member of the board of directors. Our hope would be that they could offer us 2-3 hours a month.
Fantastic Journeys works with people with Additional Needs. The people we work with might have a Learning Difficulty or Disability, Autism, a sensory impairment or be a wheelchair user. We provide music, dance and storytelling workshops.
