We are urgently seeking friendly, reliable Volunteers to help us run our social groups In Rowley Regis.

Our Thinking Differently about Dementia Project offers Social Clubs (Meeting Centres) for people who are living with mild to moderate dementia, and their carers.

We offer you the opportunity to use your talents and build new skills and confidence.

We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have a learning support or care background and are experienced working within small groups.

We offer a light lunch to our members so we are looking for people with experience or interest in helping with food preparation and cooking for our group.

The role is very hands on and would suit someone who is proactive and able to support as needed in the kitchen and serving drinks, helping clear away and practical tasks as well as supporting with activities and engagement.
We positively welcome ideas around activities and staff and volunteers work as a close team to deliver the best experience for our members.

We reimburse actual travel costs (bus fare or mileage).

Agewell is a Sandwell-based social enterprise which since 1997 has been delivering services to help local, older people to stay healthier and enjoy a better quality of life. As a Community Interest Company, any profits made are reinvested to enable more local, older people to be supported.
