search for opportunities to volunteer in Sandwell

Help beat our drum!

by Beat It Percussion CIC

Beat It Percussion CIC is looking for session volunteers to support the delivery of our workshops around Sandwell, Birmingham and Dudley. We work with rhythm and sound to support mental health and improve wellbeing. You will assist our practitioners, guide service-users through the session in a friendly manner and communicate with venues / partners. You will also communicate with attendees by reminding them of upcoming events by phone and email and encouraging them to attend sessions regularly. You will act as a community ambassador, spreading awareness of Beat It Percussion by handing out leaflets to local organisations, churches, GP surgeries, etc.
Speaking with people in community spaces is the most effective way to reach our target audience. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in your community, positively impact people’s lives first hand, and meet like-minded people. The sessions are sociable and relaxed so getting involved is really fun!
There may be paid opportunities available in the future.
