Introduce communities and families to the natural world in Sandwell.

by RSPB

We're growing a team of volunteer ‘Everyday Nature Heroes’ who will encourage and help people in their communities to experience and benefit from wildlife in local parks and outdoor spaces.
We have developed activities which you will be trained to use and demonstrate to families and communities in outdoor spaces. We also have equipment that you can borrow to help with engagement. We will welcome your ideas and skills too.
If you have a few spare hours, love meeting new people and want to find out more about local wildlife, we'd love to hear from you.
Approved expenses will be reimbursed.

Organisation description

Our vision at RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) is to deliver a world richer in nature for both wildlife and people. As well as working locally within communities to help birds and other wildlife, we seek to influence systemic change, working with policy makers and others to ensure positive outcomes for nature.
