Help grow vegetables to supply to the local community.
With the support of the Brushstrokes team you will help lead the project and supervise both community and refugee volunteers who wish to work on the allotment. This will involve supervising and carrying out various gardening tasks such as tidying beds, weeding, planting vegetables, maintenance of the plot and other gardening jobs as required by adhering to Health and Safety guidelines. We welcome enquiries from volunteers who can offer some time during the day.
Brushstrokes supports asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants across Sandwell and West Birmingham. We run a number of services and activities to support members of our diverse community.
