Build confidence in your community by sharing first aid skills.

by St John Ambulance

Do you want to play your part and build confidence in your local community by sharing first aid skills? Are you looking for a flexible volunteering opportunity? Then join our team of Community Advocates and together we will build confident, more health resilient communities.

As a Community Advocate with St John Ambulance you will help to raise the profile of first aid within your local community by helping us raise awareness of the first aid message, through the delivery of short first aid awareness sessions. You will be a motivated individual who already has community connections in your local area and is confident talking about first aid to groups of people. You will be organised and have the ability to plan your own sessions, with availability to suit the
community group and yourself.

In this role, you would ideally be volunteering for at least two sessions per month (a total of 4 hours), plus travel time.
