Sanctuary Seekers - Learn to bake bread at our Community Bakery!

by Bearwood Community Hub and Bakery

Are you a sanctuary seeker? Do you want to learn to bake bread, make friends and practise your English? We still have spaces for new learners to join Bearwood Community Bakery.

The bakery is running every Monday and Wednesday 9am – 2pm at St Mary’s Church until the 26th April. Learners can join for one or both days. The bakery is closed during school holidays.

The bakery teachers and whole team are all local women who have recently come to the UK and who speak English as a second language. Food hygiene qualification will be provided.

Make new friends, gain new skills, connect with local people and community, practise English, improve mental health, get business and kitchen experience.
