Can you spare a few hours each week to help your local pantry at Smethwick Library? A wide variety of roles are available including supporting members with purchasing produce or administration and data entry; you could be a part of our meet and greet team or a driver for our weekly supermarket collections.

Organisation description

Smethwick Pantry is a service where members of the public on a low income who are struggling to pay make ends meet can purchase good quality food of their choice for a fee of £4. We signpost services to local residents.

We would love volunteers to share their communication skills and social media skills if they have them.

Experience gained

Be part of an enthusiastic and committed team - additional training will be given as necessary in Safeguarding, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene. Gain skills and experience in both warehouse and public-facing roles.
