Lifeline Advocates at Life in Community will ensure a person has the tools to make informed decisions. An Advocate's role will be to support residents to express what they are feeling, wishing or expecting and say what they want without interference from others. Our Lifeline Advocates will not represent their own views, but will amplify that of the resident they are supporting, empowering them to advocate for themselves wherever possible. Lifeline Advocate are not advice workers, but will support the client to draw together, understand and analyse the information and advice they are given by others.
Life in Community CIC is about supporting people in Tipton to learn, overcome issues related to social and emotional well-being, become financially independent and have equity and access to education.
