by West Midlands Fire Service

Help West Midlands Fire Service deliver prevention-based activities to members of the public and vulnerable groups. Educate the community on key safety messages linked to fire, road, home, and personal safety through a variety of activities. Key activities will be:
• Acting as a “Safety Adviser” to delivery key safety messages to young people aged 9-11 around Safeside; a state-of-the-art scenario-based, experiential learning safety complex which provides an innovative, enjoyable learning experience that inspires people to think and act safely.
• Delivering safety presentations to vulnerable groups, such as new arrivals to the country or those who have English as a second language.
• Assisting Fire Stations with open days, community events and local Fire Safety initiatives to promote safety and wellbeing.
• Acting as a Volunteer Fire Safety Tutor to educate young people who have shown an unhealthy interest in fire.

Organisation description
