Shape strategy for sport and wellbeing

Play your part as a Trustee in shaping the strategic development of an award winning and nationally recognised organisation that changes people’s lives by improving the health and wellbeing of local people.
SLT is seeking volunteer board members, working or retired professionals, capable of strategic and business thinking with an interest in leisure, health and physical activity. Knowledge of Sandwell is desirable but not essential.
Quarterly Board meetings, typically 1st Tuesday of month at 5pm. Plus 1 strategic planning day per year and opportunity to support Board Sub Committees subject to availability, skills and interest.

Organisation description

SLT is a not for profit organisation and registered charity managing sport, leisure and physical activity facilities and services on behalf of the local authority. SLT works in partnership to support and engage the wider community to create healthier lifestyles, improve wellbeing and increase participation in physical activity.
