A great opportunity to meet new people, reduce social isolation and get active! We are looking for friendly people who are able to walk a minimum of one mile to lead walks in the community and help encourage others to move more.
We work in partnership with Sandwell Stride to deliver various walks across the borough and are looking to get new ones set up in Wednesbury and Tipton. Check out all the walks here https://www.walkingforhealth.org.uk/walkfinder/west-midlands/sandwell-stride
We are seeking to get people active and moving more. To support this ambition we are trialling approaches across priority ward areas (Friar Park & Princes End) to develop a better understanding of residents' needs and implement a campaign to get people more active and improve the health & wellbeing of the local community.
