Be part of our new 'Play Plot' scheme

We invite parents/carers/adults (18+) to become part of a trained team of volunteers hosting outdoor play and allotment-related activities for young children.
Training will be delivered by our Community Allotment Coordinator and the Sandwell ‘Go Play’ Team. Volunteers will run allotment-based play sessions throughout the year, engaging with young children aged three to nine years.

Preferred skills

Volunteers will help develop both the ‘Play Plot’ facility and creation of the programme.

Experience gained

Skills developed around working with young children; basic horticultural skills; working in an outdoor environment; play techniques.
